Aged Care Consultation
Like many things in life, when we are in new, unfamiliar territory it's best to have a conversation and Compassionate Care Service begins with this, a conversation/consultation in your home, or via skype, to support you to make sense of where you are at and what may be the next best step for you. Each person or family may be at different stages of the aged care journey, so this consultation supports you to clarify your situation and provides you with information, and experience, so that you can gain an understanding of how you or your family can move forward.

- The ins and out of Home Care services and Residential Aged Care services
- The costs of care - eligibility for Government subsidies and how to access these
- My Aged Care referral codes - what they are and how to use them
Included in this consultation, you will also be referred to the following services if required:
- My Aged Care - the Government aged care portal
- Experienced and appropriate Home Care service providers in your local area if home care feels to be the next step
- Experienced and appropriate Residential aged care options and placement if residential care feels to be the next step
- Legal Services to ensure that appropriate legal documents are in place
- Aged Care Financial Services to advise how best to structure payment for aged care services
- Other Compassionate Care Services including guided support with My Aged Care registration and assessment and client support, if having a chat or visiting a family member, or friend, is needed.
